By paying for or using the Founding Beta, you agree to these Terms.
These Founding Beta Terms ("Terms") govern your participation in the 14-day Evren Founding Beta ("Founding Beta") and your use of Evren, Maibel's websites, Telegram-based experience, onboarding, payment, support and related services that link to these Terms (together, the "Services").
The Services are provided by Maibel Pte. Ltd. ("Maibel", "we", "us" or "our"), a company incorporated in Singapore.
By purchasing, registering for or using the Founding Beta, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not purchase or use the Services.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data and forms part of your use of the Services.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or participate in the Founding Beta.
By registering, you confirm that:
The Founding Beta is not available to anyone whose participation would be unlawful under applicable law.
Evren is an AI wellness companion designed to support reflection, routines, sustainable habits and general wellbeing.
Evren is artificial intelligence. Evren is not human, conscious, sentient, a licensed healthcare professional or a substitute for human relationships or qualified professional support.
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent or inappropriate for your circumstances. You should use your own judgment and seek qualified advice where appropriate.
Maibel aims to design Evren to support your agency and life beyond the AI relationship. We do not intend Evren to manipulate emotions, induce dependency, pressure you to remain, or replace appropriate real-world support.
The Founding Beta provides eligible participants with access to the beta version of Evren for 14 consecutive days.
Your 14-day access period begins when Maibel activates your access and sends or makes available the instructions needed to begin using Evren. Payment alone may not result in immediate activation if Maibel still needs to verify eligibility, match your payment to your Telegram account, complete onboarding or resolve a technical issue.
The Founding Beta is limited, experimental and still under development. Features, messages, schedules, character behaviour, memory, missions, availability and delivery methods may change during the beta.
Unless Maibel expressly agrees otherwise in writing:
Maibel does not guarantee that founding beta participants will receive any preferential pricing, priority access or benefits in future paid versions of the Services.
We may use eligibility limits, cohort sizes, allowlists or phased activation to protect service quality and safety.
The Founding Beta fee is S$5, charged once through Stripe unless a different price is clearly shown and accepted by you at checkout.
You authorise Stripe and Maibel to process the payment and related transaction information. Maibel does not receive your full payment-card number. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy also apply to its payment services.
There is no automatic renewal under the Founding Beta purchase.
If you cannot access the Founding Beta or decide it is not suitable for you, contact mabel@maibel.com during your 14-day access period and request a full refund. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to locate and verify the payment.
Approved refunds will be returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible. Processing times may depend on Stripe, your bank or card provider.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The Services provide general wellness support only. They do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, counselling, crisis care, emergency assistance or other regulated professional services.
Do not rely on Evren to make decisions about medication, diagnosis, treatment, self-harm, abuse, pregnancy, eating disorders, acute symptoms or any other matter requiring qualified professional judgment.
You remain responsible for your decisions, actions and wellbeing outside the Services. Always consult an appropriately qualified professional about medical, mental-health, legal, financial or other professional concerns.
If you believe you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service. Do not wait for Evren or Maibel to respond.
Evren is not an emergency service and is not continuously monitored by a human.
Maibel does not guarantee that Evren will detect distress, self-harm, abuse, medical danger or any other emergency. Safety systems may misunderstand, miss or incorrectly flag content.
If the Services detect language suggesting serious or imminent risk, they may change the conversation flow, provide crisis-related guidance or resources, reduce ordinary companion behaviour, or flag the interaction for authorised review.
Where permitted or required by law, and where Maibel reasonably believes disclosure is necessary to respond to a serious threat to life, health or safety, Maibel may disclose limited information to emergency services, authorities or another appropriate person. Maibel may not know your identity or location and may be unable to contact anyone on your behalf.
You may need a Telegram account and access to third-party services such as Stripe or Google Forms to participate.
You are responsible for:
Do not share your Evren access with another person. Messages sent through your linked account may be treated as authorised by you unless you have notified Maibel of suspected unauthorised access.
Third-party platforms are operated independently. Maibel is not responsible for their separate services, outages, terms, security or privacy practices.
You must use the Services lawfully and reasonably.
You must not:
Good-faith feedback, safety research, bug reporting and ordinary personal use are welcome. If you discover a security or safety issue, report it to mabel@maibel.com and do not exploit it or expose other users' data.
You retain any rights you hold in the messages, feedback and other content you submit to the Services ("User Content").
You give Maibel a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process, transmit, display and otherwise use User Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, operate, evaluate, troubleshoot and improve the Services, comply with law, and exercise our rights under these Terms. This licence lasts only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your User Content and that our permitted use of it will not unlawfully violate another person's rights.
If you voluntarily provide product ideas, suggestions or general feedback, you permit Maibel to use that feedback without payment or obligation to you. This does not give Maibel permission to publicly identify you, publish sensitive conversation content, or use your testimonial for marketing without an appropriate separate permission.
Optional research, testimonial, marketing, model-training or broader secondary uses will be handled separately where required, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The Services, including Evren's character design, software, prompts, workflows, interfaces, text, graphics, branding, evaluation methods and other materials provided by Maibel, are owned by Maibel or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, Maibel gives you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services for your personal participation in the Founding Beta.
No ownership rights are transferred to you. You may share your own experience and ordinary screenshots for personal, non-confidential purposes, but you must not expose another person's data, misrepresent Maibel, disclose confidential testing material marked as such, or commercially reproduce the Services.
The Founding Beta is experimental. The Services may contain bugs, delays, missed or duplicate messages, memory errors, inaccurate responses, outages or other failures.
Maibel may add, remove, limit, pause or change beta features where reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, testing, service quality or product development.
We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free or permanently available service. Where reasonably practicable, we will try to communicate material interruptions or changes affecting your beta access.
If a material service failure prevents meaningful participation, you may request a refund under Section 5.
You may stop using Evren at any time. You may also request account closure or deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
Maibel may suspend, limit or terminate access where reasonably necessary because:
Where appropriate, Maibel will try to give notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Immediate action may be taken where delay could create harm or legal or security risk.
If Maibel ends your access without fault on your part before you receive meaningful use of the 14-day beta, you may request a full refund. If access is terminated for serious misuse or a material breach of these Terms, a refund may be refused to the extent permitted by law.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination — including intellectual property, permitted use of feedback, liability, disputes and accrued payment obligations — will survive.
Our Privacy Policy explains how Maibel handles personal data, including conversation and memory information, human review, AI providers, safety processing, retention and your rights.
By agreeing to these Terms, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read the Privacy Policy. Agreement to these Terms does not constitute consent to optional research, testimonial, marketing, model-training or other secondary uses where separate consent is required.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an "as available" and beta basis.
Maibel does not guarantee:
Nothing in these Terms excludes guarantees, warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer rights.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maibel will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, where such loss was not reasonably foreseeable or was not directly caused by Maibel.
For other claims arising from the Founding Beta, Maibel's total aggregate liability will, to the maximum extent permitted by law, not exceed the greater of:
This limitation does not reduce any remedy or consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited. Each party remains responsible for taking reasonable steps to reduce avoidable loss.
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonably foreseeable losses, claims or costs suffered by Maibel because of your unlawful use of the Services, material breach of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
This section does not make you responsible for losses caused by Maibel's own negligence, breach or unlawful conduct.
Maibel may update these Terms as the Founding Beta, Services, laws or practices change.
We will post the updated Terms and revise the effective date. If a change materially reduces your rights or materially changes the paid beta during your active 14-day period, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
If you do not agree to a material change, you may stop using the Services and contact us. Where the change materially affects what you purchased, you may request a refund for the Founding Beta.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
If a dispute arises, please contact mabel@maibel.com first so we can try to resolve it promptly and fairly.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of Singapore will have non-exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking urgent relief or using a legally available consumer dispute-resolution process.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect, and the affected provision will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.
Maibel's failure to enforce a provision immediately does not waive the right to enforce it later.
You may not transfer your beta access or your rights under these Terms without Maibel's written consent. Maibel may transfer these Terms as part of a merger, restructuring, financing, sale of business or transfer of the Services, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any checkout terms expressly presented to you, form the agreement between you and Maibel regarding the Founding Beta. If checkout wording conflicts with these Terms, the wording that gives the consumer clearer or greater protection will apply unless the law requires otherwise.
